Advertise in the Cooking TF Menu Mailer and Forum
Thank you for considering advertising your product or service at Cooking Traditional
Foods. We currently have over 250 menu mailer subscribers and the website gets at
least 1,500 unique visitors per week. Our Weekly Newsletter has over 350 subscribers
and is growing fast. Our forum has 700 members and is growing quickly, having just
launched the end of January, 2008.
Cooking Traditional Foods will only accept ads compatible with the Traditional/Whole
Foods and Natural Family Living community. This includes but is not limited to
ads for websites or forums discussing or selling traditional foods, home and body
care products, kitchen ware, house wares, gardening, homeschooling products and services,
children’s products and accessories, pregnancy and birth items and services.
We do not accept ads that do not fall into line with the WHO code for infant nutrition
or adult oriented ads of any nature. All ads are accepted at the sole discretion
of Cooking Traditional Foods. Ads rejected that do not contain adult content will
receive a full refund at the time of rejection.

Menu Mailer
The menu mailer has a limited amount of space for advertising in each mailer. Ads
are accepted and printed in order of submission, as ad space allows. You will be
given details or when your ad will run, including a copy of the mailer at your request,
when you submit your order.
Prices are as follows:
· 2.5 in wide, text- $4 per inch, 1 inch minimum in half-inch increments, black and
white only
· 2.5 inch wide, graphic- $7 per inch, 2 inch minimum in half-inch increments, color
or black and white
· 4 inch wide, text- $7 per inch, 2 inch minimum in half-inch increments, black and
white only
· 4 inch wide, graphic- $13 per inch, 2 inch minimum in half-inch increments, color
or black and white
Graphic submissions- graphics are to be submitted in .jpg or .gif form only, to advertise@cookingtf.com
by the submission deadline. Written permission for image and graphic usage must
be faxed to 919-724-4099 or mailed to our specified address before your submission
will be accepted.
Submission deadline- Tuesdays at noon, two days prior to the issue being mailed out.
Payment, any needed permissions and graphic or text submission must all be in prior
to the deadline.
All text and graphic ads submitted to the menu mailer will also receive a text listing
in the link exchange area.
Website
Text- link exchange is free as long as your website meets our advertising guidelines
and you first place a reciprocal link on your website. Once your reciprocal link
is placed, you may e-mail us at advertise@cookingtf.com to request that we ad your
link to our site. If you wish for us to list a link without reciprocation, the one-time
fee is $5.
Graphic- Exclusive banner space is available at the top of certain pages and will
run for 1 month on the website, beginning the first day of the month. There are
a limited number of slots available. You may pick which page your banner will appear
on, subject to availability. The pages on feeding children, kitchen basics, links,
and gluten-free living are all open to accepting exclusive banners, as well as the
multiple recipe pages. One-month of exclusive banner display on one page of your
choice is $10. Three months of exclusive banner display on one page of your choice
is $25. The banner or link can be changed at any point during the ad campaign at
your request.
Forum
Graphic- A 468x60 rotating banner is viewable at the top of every forum page and
will run for 1 month on the forum in rotation with the other banners, beginning the
first day of the month. One-month of rotating banner display on the forum is $10.
Three months is $25. The banner image or link can be changed at any point during
the ad campaign at your request. At time of purchase, please provide the location
of the image and the link you would like attached via e-mail to advertise@cookingtf.com.
Monthly Newsletter
Featured ad- A Text blurb of 500 character spaces or less plus a link placed above
the featured article may be purchased for $8. There is only one featured ad per
newsletter.
Non-Featured ad- Text blurbs of 250 character spaces or less plus a link may be purchased
for $4. These ads are placed in various locations throughout the newsletter.
All text ads submitted to the monthly newsletter will also receive a text listing
in the link exchange area.
